What is AI slop?
AI slop is generic writing built from reusable phrasing and familiar rhetorical patterns. Common signs include forced contrast, repeated cadence, inflated claims, and conclusions that restate the point.
Context matters. One em dash may clarify a sentence. Repeated pivots can make a page sound mechanical.

What should stay
Keep the writer’s voice, useful punctuation, deliberate short sentences, required repetition, and specific facts. Remove only the wording that makes the passage generic or mechanical.
